Story
A group of fishermen, displaced from their region due to an issue, are given shelter on another coast. Just as their lives seem to be sailing smoothly, mysterious problems begin to plague them. When one of them steps forward to find a solution, he is murdered. What exactly is the problem they are facing? Who will restart the incomplete mission? Will the issue finally be resolved? What are the underlying political angles? To find the answers to these questions, you must watch Therachapa on the silver screen.
Performances
Despite being a relatively new actor, Naveen Raj (Eshwara), who played the lead, delivered a solid performance. Heroines Pooja and Sreelu acted well within their character arcs, proving themselves and bringing strength to the narrative. Key actors like Rajiv Kanakala, Naga Mahesh, Jagadeesh, and Prudhvi Raj did complete justice to their roles, leaving their mark on the story. The Jabardasth actors—Rising Raju, Ashok, Nagi, and Apparao—provided good comedy along with decent performances. The late Fish Venkat also played a notable role in the film.
Technical Analysis
Engaging the audience with a simple story is always a challenge, but director George succeeded in presenting this ordinary tale effectively on the silver screen. The music, visuals, and locations are outstanding. Although the lip-sync is slightly off in a few places, the audience might overlook it as they get immersed in the story. The production values are excellent.
