Continuing the noble ideals of the legendary couple Sri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and Smt. Nandamuri Basava Tarakam, the Nandamuri Basava Tarakam NTR Charitable Trust distributed Diwali gifts to the children of Shishu Mangal Orphanage in Tellapur.
Under the guidance of Trust Chairman Nandamuri Mohana Krishna, Managing Trustee Nandamuri Mohana Roopa and Board Trustee Nandamuri Seemanthini visited the orphanage and spent quality time with the children.
They interacted with the children and spent more than three hours with them, sharing happy moments. The celebrations became even more special with cheerful dance performances to the song ‘Dabidi Dibidi’ and enthusiastic ‘Jai Balayya’ slogans.
The orphanage was established in 2012 by Srinivas, a yoga instructor, with the noble intention of supporting children who have lost their parents. It has been providing care and support to many children.
As part of the celebrations, the Trust representatives served food to the children and joined them for lunch. They also distributed new clothes, sweets and Diwali crackers, bringing smiles and happiness to the young residents.
The initiative reflected the Trust’s commitment to carrying forward the values of compassion, service and social responsibility upheld by Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and Nandamuri Basava Tarakam.
