DMDK party founder Vijay Kanth passed away while undergoing treatment at Myatt Hospital in Chennai. Vijay Kant, who was suffering from pneumonia, died while on ventilator. Doctors said that the medical tests showed that he was positive for Covid. Hearing this, his family members were shocked. His family, fans and followers could not digest this matter. Many celebrities and politicians have condoled to Vijay Kanth death.
Vijay Kanth was born on 25 August 1952 in Madurai. He entered the film industry with his interest in acting. He started his film career in 1979 with the Tamil film Inukkum Ilamai and earned himself a special recognition as an action hero by acting in many films. He entered politics with his interest in public service. On September 14, 2005 he founded the DMDK party and won as MLA. His political journey which started like that made many people interested in politics.
Despite being in politics, he continued to act in films. While Vijay Kanth has two sons. His last movie was Mathura Viran (2018). The people of Tamil Nadu were shocked to hear the news of his death.
