after appearing in films like Naa Peru Siva and Gangs of Godavari, Vinod Kishan’s film Peka Medalu is the first time that Vinod Kishan has acted as a hero in Telugu . Anusha Krishna is the heroine in this movie and directed by Nilgiri Mamilla. The film is produced by actor Rakesh Varre from the production house Crazy Ants and music is composed by Smaran Sai.

Story:
The film is set in the background of a common middle class family living in a slum in Hyderabad city. The movie tells the story of an irresponsible husband who neglects his wife & children, gets greedy to earn money through short cuts, dreams of building buildings in the air, and what mistakes he made and what problems his family faced due to those mistakes. But will he finally change and take care of his family, or will he continue in his own style? What changes did his wife and children’s life take due to his mistakes? The audience will find the answer to many such questions in the movie Peka Medalu.

Actors Performance:
Despite the number of roles in the film, the main characters of Vinod Kishan who played Laxman and Anusha Krishna who played his wife Varalakshmi are finally seen by us. Although they played lesser roles in the movie, the performance of these two made the movie more attractive to the audience. It is noteworthy that director Nilgiri Mamilla also played a role in the film. Also, Muralidhar Goud, who acted in the movie Balagam, and some artists impressed the audience with their performances.

Technical Analysis:

Although this movie is a drama, the viewer does not feel like watching a new story anywhere. The director has made this film by showing the lives and ways of living that the audience usually sees around them in their homes. Wherever in the movie, Smaran Sai impressed the audience with his music. Although the screenplay seems a bit slow in the first half, the movie is a special attraction.

Positive Points:
Actors acting, story, songs, background music.

Minus Points:
Slow screenplay, unnecessary drama here and there.

Peka Medalu is a movie that should be watched by family especially women.
