
Kali Yugam 2064′ is a movie produced by KS Ramakrishna and K Ramcharan under the banner of RK International, written and directed by Pramod Sundar. The movie was released on May 9, 2025. Shraddha Srinath, Kishore, Iniyan Subramani played the lead roles, while Harry, Ajmal, Santosh, Mani and others appeared in supporting roles. K Ram Charan provided the cinematography, and Don Vincent composed the music. Let’s see how much this movie impressed the audience in the review:
Story :
The movie depicts the plight of humanity after the Third World War in the year 2064. The story revolves around the theme of how cruel people become for food and survival. The strong set up a residence. While Shakti (Kishore) and his companions try to find food, all the others except Shakti die at the hands of the residence. In this sequence, Shakti comes to know about the safe house. Upon reaching there, Shakti meets a man named Thomas. What did Shakti want to do? What challenges did he face? Why did Bhumi (Shraddha Srinath) go there? What problems did she face? That is the rest of the story.
Actors’ performance :
Shraddha Srinath impressed once again with her performance. Known for films like ‘Jersey’, ‘Mechanic Rocky’, ‘Daku Maharaj’, she played the role of a survivor amidst famine and hardships brilliantly. Her expressions and acting are natural and heart-touching. Kishore did full justice to his role. Iniyan Subramani’s role as Thomas is crucial and exciting. The other actors also get into their roles and excel especially in the action scenes.
Technical Analysis :
Director Pramod Sundar has provided a wonderful visual experience even on a low budget. Cinematographer K Ram Charan has taken us into a new world with the visuals, locations and colour palette. His work as a disciple of PC Sriram is clearly visible in this film. The VFX is also impressive. Don Vincent’s music is in keeping with the story.
