Dr. Krishna Yedula – A Beacon of Service, Sustainability, and Collaboration

Dr. Krishna Yedula’s contributions to social service, safety, and sustainability are unparalleled. Born in 1971 in Hyderabad, he earned an M.A. from Osmania University, an MDBA from Symbiosis, and an honorary doctorate from George Washington University of Peace.

In 2006, he played a pivotal role in establishing the Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), leading initiatives in cyber safety, women’s security, and road safety. During the COVID-19 crisis, he set up the COVID Command Centre, coordinating 2,500 volunteers to distribute 1.5 million meal packets, 200,000 grocery kits, 18,000 plasma donations, and establish a 200-bed isolation centre. He also facilitated a world-record vaccination drive for 38,000 people in a single day.

Dr. Yedula extended aid to orphans, migrant workers, transgenders, and animals, while personally conducting last rites for abandoned COVID-19 victims, exemplifying humanity. His efforts earned him accolades like an honorary doctorate (2024) and the India Responsible Leader Award (2023).

As Vice President at Virtusa since 1997, he balances professional life with impactful social work, offering sustainable solutions and guiding society through sustainability, safety, and collaboration.
