Set against the backdrop of a traditional village, school and college life, Oka Chooputho Modalaindi presents a pure and innocent love story rooted in emotions and family values.

A Story of Love, Transformation and Sacrifice

The story follows Krishna, a middle-class youngster who is known for his impulsive nature and is a leader of a college group. His close friends include Suresh, Srinivas, Subbarao and Ravi. Krishna’s life takes a completely different turn when Niharika, the 16-year-old daughter of the respected and wealthy Viswanath, falls in love with him after seeing him during a drama rehearsal.

Their innocent relationship gradually blossoms. Krishna also falls deeply in love with Niharika after seeing her during the Atla Taddi festival. With Suresh supporting their relationship, their love story slowly becomes known to those around them.

However, their love faces strong opposition from Niharika’s father Viswanath. When Krishna secretly visits Niharika, their relationship is exposed, leading to serious conflict between the families. The situation also creates differences among Krishna’s friends.

Love brings a remarkable transformation in Krishna. The once-aggressive youngster gives up fights and begins concentrating on his studies and becomes a better person.

Despite Viswanath’s efforts to separate the couple by sending Niharika away for two years, their love remains strong. When Niharika returns to the village for a traditional ceremony, Krishna takes her away, leading to a dramatic confrontation.

Viswanath, unable to accept their relationship, seeks the help of his younger brother SI Varun. Just when the situation reaches its most intense moment, Rama Sharma helps Viswanath understand the purity and sincerity of Krishna and Niharika’s love.

In a powerful emotional climax, Viswanath stands between Krishna and the bullet fired by SI Varun, ultimately choosing to protect their love and give the young couple a chance at life together.

The film concludes with the realization that a father’s love for his daughter can ultimately make him understand the depth of the love she has found.

‘Oka Chooputho Modalaindi’ is a story that conveys a simple yet meaningful message: True love may need time to be understood, but genuine love always finds a way to win hearts.
